Where We Gather to Grow and Scatter to Sow
Missions and Evangelism
At Living Water Church, we understand that we have been called to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We start where God has placed us (Plattsmouth), but we look for ways to make a global impact for His kingdom.
Local Missions
Throughout our history, LWC has supported numerous causes in our hometown. Some of these include: Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), SENCA (local food pantry), LWC Backpack Ministry (school supplies for struggling families), and personal assistance to various families in crisis.
Additionally, every month our church sends funds to aid in the ministry that goes on in our association and our State convention. That means that we are directly funding church plants and missional endeavors throughout the Omaha and Lincoln Metro areas, rural communities across Nebraska, and even supporting missions in various parts of Kansas.
Global Missions
While our hands and feet are at work in Plattsmouth, we strive to support causes and partner with ministries that reach the four corners of the globe. The following ministries receive money, prayer, and support from our congregation: The International Mission Board, Samaritan's Purse, the Children's Hunger Fund, and Gideon's International. Beyond these organizations, LWC also supports several missionaries directly and also sent a team to Panama in February of 2026 to assist missionaries working in the field.
